You have entered the RSVP of Yakima County web page. RSVP (Retired and
Senior Volunteer Program) is dedicated to activating seniors 55 and over
to find volunteer positions in non-profits, proprietary health care
organizations, schools and government agencies throughout Yakima County.
President Bush has asked every American to serve their communities and
give at least 4,000 lifetime hours to volunteerism. Quite a few of our
volunteers already have already achieved that goal – let us help you get
started!
Whether you have many skills, or don’t think you have any at all, we can
help you find a volunteer placement. RSVP volunteers assist over 100
agencies from Selah to Grandview. Almost 700 volunteers put in over
122,900 hours last year. You can work as little or as much as you like. We
have opportunities for people who like the outdoors, and people who don’t
like to leave home. Give us a call and let us help you find a place to be!
